Step 01: Reaching out to new Potential Members

First and foremost, it is important that we reach out to potential members who would be a good fit for our fraternity.

We need to let them know about all the great things Freemasonry has to offer and how they can benefit from being a part of our brotherhood.

There are many ways to do this, but some of the most effective include:

Invitations to Lodge:

One of the best ways to promote Freemasonry is by inviting potential members to your lodge meetings.

This is a great way to let them see what Freemasonry is all about and how much we have to offer.

You can hand out invitations at local events or even just leave them around town with your contact information.

Word of mouth:

Another great way to promote Freemasonry is by simply talking about it with people who may be interested.

If you know someone who might be a good fit, tell them about your experience in the fraternity and how it has helped you in your life. You never know who you might reach!

Community events:

Another great way to reach out to potential members is by getting involved in your community and hosting events that promote Freemasonry.

This is a great way to show people what we’re all about and how we can help make a difference.

Make sure your Lodge has a social/web presence:

In today’s day and age, it is so important to have a social media presence. This is one of the best ways to reach potential members and keep existing members informed about what’s going on in your Lodge.

Make sure to have a Lodge website that is up to date and has all the information potential members would need. You should also be active on social media and post regularly about events and happenings in your Lodge.

This is a great way to reach out to potential members and keep everyone in the loop!

Now that we’ve talked about how to reach out to potential new members let’s talk about how to make sure the members we already have stay involved in Freemasonry.

This is so important because it helps keep our fraternity strong and growing. There are many ways to do this, but some of the most effective include:

Keeping them informed:

The first and most important way to keep existing members involved is by keeping them informed about what’s going on in your Lodge.

This can be done through your website (as mentioned above), social media, or even just sending out a monthly newsletter.

Keeping everyone in the loop will help ensure that they remain interested and, most importantly, invested in Freemasonry.

Encourage involvement:

Another great way to keep members involved is by encouraging them to get involved in your Lodge.

This can be done by asking for their help with events, committees, or anything else that needs to be done. Getting everyone involved will help them feel like they are a part of something special and important.

Plan fun events:

Another great way to keep members involved is by planning fun events that they will enjoy.

This could be anything from a holiday party to a day trip to the beach. Whatever you do, make sure it’s something that everyone will enjoy and look forward to!

Assign mentors to new initiates:

A great way to help new members get involved is by assigning them a mentor. This is an experienced member who can help guide them through their first year in Freemasonry.

This is a great way to make sure they feel welcome and comfortable and that they have someone to turn to with questions or concerns.

NB: Inside our Freemasons Community, we have a mentorship section where new initiates to Freemasonry can link up with a personal mentor to help them with their journey. You can learn more about the members-only community here.

Keep the Harmony in the Lodge:

One of the most important things to remember is to keep the harmony in your Lodge. This means getting along with each other and respecting each other’s opinions, which is why the topics of religion and politics are best avoided.

It can be easy to let disagreements get out of hand, but it’s so important to remember that we’re all on the same team.

Keeping the peace will help ensure that everyone remains happy and involved in Freemasonry.

Step 03: The Things you can do to Keep Freemasonry Alive

Freemasonry is such an important part of our history, and it is so important that we do everything we can to keep it alive.

Here are some things you can do to help:

Educate yourself:

The first step in promoting Freemasonry is to educate yourself about what it is and what it stands for.

This way, you’ll be able to answer any questions that people may have. There are many resources and online Masonic courses available that can help you learn more about Freemasonry, so take advantage of them!

Tell people about it:

One of the best things you can do to promote Freemasonry is simply by talking about it with others.

If you know someone who might be interested, tell them about your experience in the fraternity and how it has helped you in your life. You never know who you might reach!

Get involved in your community:

Another great way to promote Freemasonry is by getting involved in your community and hosting events that promote the fraternity.

This is a great way to show people what we’re all about and how we can help make a difference.

Live & Lead by Example:

One of the best ways to promote Freemasonry is by simply living by the principles we hold dear.

By showing others how these principles have helped us in our lives, we can show them how they can help them as well.

Can Freemasonry Survive Another 300 Years?

There’s no doubt that Freemasonry has seen better days.

We’re not as popular as we once were, and our membership numbers are dwindling.

But I refuse to believe that Freemasonry is a lost cause.

I truly believe that if we can promote the fraternity to the right people and keep our members involved, we can ensure that Freemasonry survives for another 300 years!
